From January 1st, 2015, all persons undertaking nationally recognised training courses will be required to provide a USI (Unique Student Identifier) in order to be enrolled and resulted.
As an employer, this means all participants enrolled will be required to provide this to RTO’s before a statement of attainment or qualification can be issued.
For any business to be successful, it is important to realise that your employees are your best asset. Providing high quality training informs knowledge and skills empowers your employees to assess task related issues and make good choices, which increases morale, which in turn leads to less absenteeism and staff turnover, resulting in a healthier bottom line.
Nationally recognised training is training delivered according to the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations 2012, the standards ASQA uses to ensure nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment across Australia's vocational education and training (VET) system. Only registered training organisations (RTO) can issue nationally recognised qualifications.
