Low Voltage Rescue (with or without CPR)
In the world of electrical work, safety is paramount, and one critical aspect is the rescue of individuals from live low voltage (LV) panels in emergency situations. Our course ensures that workers are prepared to respond to emergencies and protect both themselves and their colleagues when working with live LV panels.
How often to I need to complete this course?
“the safety observer must have been assessed in the previous 12 months as competent to rescue and resuscitate a person” – WHS Section 161.4 (b)
Pre-requisites for all participants
NOTE: New competency requirements from 2024. In order to be assessed as competent, you are required to provide evidence on the day of training as follows:
– Your current electrial licence OR
– HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (unless co-assessed on the day) AND
– UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes & practices in the workplace OR
– UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker OR
– ESI (electrical service industry) OR
– Electrotechnology qualification or equivalent
